Chinese blue and white ginger jar, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated with three large ogee-shaped panels containing an assortment of archaistic bronze-form vessels, stools and a weiqi board, surrounded by beribboned emblems including the flaming chakra, a ruyi head and several 'babao' representing cash coins, books and qin (a musical jade stone), all against a cracked-ice ground with prunus blossoms
