Description
A Colombian emerald and diamond three stone ring, with a step-cut emerald, with an estimated weight of 2.00 carats, in a yellow gold four-claw basket setting, with an old European-cut diamond in each shoulder, in platinum claw and heart settings, onto a gold, tapered shank. Accompanied by GCS certificate 81280-38, stating that the emerald shows characteristics of Colombian origin and a moderate amount of oil in the fissures. Estimated diamond weights 1.35 carats and 1.25 carats, in our opinion the colour is K and our opinion of the clarity is VS.
Electronically tests as 18 carat gold and platinum.
