Description
A striking early Victorian bracelet from around 1840, made of graduated oval panels of coq de perle. Each domed panel is cut from the nautilus shell and shows the shell’s lustre in soft pinks, creams and pearly greens. Every panel is framed in faceted cut steel studs. The panels are joined by linked rings, each with a further cut steel stud between them.
The bracelet is 18cm long and 3.4cm wide at the widest point.
