Description
This is a very fine 15ct Yellow Gold (tested) Georgian Bracelet, featuring six open strap work "Lantern" style links, with one cleverly functioning as the original clasp, complemented by intermittent curved link decoration to the adjoining hand embossed links. A delicate safety chain is attached for security.
As a very fine example of Georgian jewellery and gold-work craftsmanship, this piece embodies the refined elegance of the late eighteenth century. English in origin and dating to Circa 1790, it is a truly remarkable survivor of its era.
