Description
A very fine 9 carat Yellow Gold (tested), Double Locket. Beautifully hand engraved on either side with two differing foliate scroll designs. This remarkable locket is double hinged and opens into both a photograph section and a reticule section, which currently contains an exquisitely plaited lock of hair (we can easily remove this+, if so required).
Some wear and ageing but commensurate with age.
Circa 1880.
