Description
An enchanting late Victorian Natural Pteriidae Oval Pearl and Diamond Pendant-Brooch, handcrafted in England circa 1890.
At its heart sits a certified Natural, Nacreous Saltwater Pearl measuring approximately 9.0 x 7.6 x 6.1 mm, displaying a silver-white body colour, orient overtones, and a very good lustre, accompanied by an independent GCS London report. The Pearl is framed by 32 Old European Cut Diamonds totalling approximately 3.60 Carats, graded F-G colour and VS1-VS2 clarity, set in silver-tipped 15 ct. Yellow Gold.
Designed for versatility, the piece features a detachable matching bale set with three graduated old European-cut diamonds, allowing an effortless transition from a historic brooch to a graceful pendant.
