Description
An exquisite Victorian High Carat Yellow Gold and Silver tipped Oval Diamond Clasp, featuring double receipt fasteners for a triple row Cultured Pearl Necklace. This versatile Clasp boasts a detachable Diamond bale, allowing it to seamlessly convert into a striking Diamond pendant. Accompanying the piece are ten extra Cultured Pearls, intentionally preserved should a future length adjustment be desired.
The centrepiece features an Oval Old Cut Diamond of approximately 1,00 Carat, possessing G Colour and VS2 Clarity. This magnificent stone is framed by a dazzling halo of 117 Old Mine & Rose Cut Diamonds, assessed at 4.35 Carats, exhibiting G - H Colour and VS1 - VS2 Clarity. They beautifully complement the three rows of Cultured Pearls (variety Akoya Salt-water), measuring 6.00 - 6.99 mm, which display a warm Cream Colour, Orient Overtone, Good Lustre, and a lightly Spotted Surface.
Steeped in history, the Clasp is Victorian, English Circa 1870, while the Cultured pearls are Circa 1910.
