Description
A very stylish and stunning Brooch, designed as interlocking two colour Gold leaves with a pair of "grape bunch" cluster drops containing ten (10) claw set natural 'Round Cabochon Cut' Sapphires, totalling 4.00 Carats and of Medium / Dark Blue with Moderate indication of Slight Thermal Enhancement; there are seven 'Cabochon Cut' natural Rubies totalling 2.45 Carats, of Pinkish Red with a Moderate indication of Slight Fissure Filling, the Gem settings are interspersed with eight (8) 'Round Brilliant Cut' Diamonds with an estimated (total) weight of 0.64 Carats, F - G Colour, VS Clarity.
Accompanied by an Independent Gemmologist's Report confirming the above assessment.
All on a hinged pin fastener with barrel safety clasp.
It should be noted that slightly or moderately treated readings for Corundum type Gems and Fissure Filling of Rubies is commensurate with the majority of multi-gem set jewellery produced post 1915. Late 20th Century Jewellery often has heavier treatment readings.
