Dutch Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring in 14ct Gold & Silver | Georgian c.1820s
POA
Description
An early 19th century Dutch cluster ring set with a central high domed rose cut diamond, foil backed and closed set, surrounded by fourteen smaller rose cuts in silver settings.
The diamonds, estimated to total just over 1 carat, are arranged in a classic circular formation that was popular across the Georgian period.
The band is crafted in 14ct gold with hand engraved shoulders, and a pierced gallery beneath the head lets the light shine through.
Dating to around the 1820s, this is a timeless and fine example of Dutch Georgian jewellery.
