Description
A Georgian diamond, Bristol cobalt blue glass, silver and gold heart brooch, with rose-cut diamonds set in a silver jardinière motif, over a deep blue cobalt glass heart, in a gold rub over setting, surrounded by rose-cut diamonds, in silver cut down settings, mounted in gold. The reverse is engraved with a floral and foliate design, with a pin and later roller catch fitting, the front and back sections are riveted together, circa 1820.
Condition: Good - Wear consistent with age and use, one replacement stone
