Description
A 19th Century French quarter repeating cylinder in a gold open face case. Keywind gilt bar movement, suspended going barrel with polished steel stopwork. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Push pendant quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. Signed white enamel dial with and Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Engine turned 18 carat drum shaped open face case, the back with a vacant oval cartouche close to the edge, engine turned middle. Gold push pendant for the repeat with locking slide in the band. Wound and set through the signed gilt cuvette.
