Wonderful Guilloché Enamel Desk Seal With Heraldic Crest Intaglio. A refined antique Edwardian guilloché enamel desk seal, crafted in silver with an engraved heraldic crest intaglio matrix. The elegant baluster-shaped handle is decorated with beautifully preserved powder-blue guilloché enamel, laid over fine engine-turned engraving that catches and reflects the light with exceptional delicacy. The silver mounts provide crisp contrast to the translucent enamel and enhance the sophisticated architectural form of the seal. The base is engraved with an heraldic shield featuring stylised birds and armorial detailing, intended for use with sealing wax on personal correspondence and official documents.
