An exquisite Edwardian 18ct gold harlequin fringe necklace, circa 1910, set with a colourful assortment of gemstones, including demantoid and almandine garnets, topaz, sapphires, rubies and tourmalines. The necklace features a graduated fringe of gemstone drops, each complemented by intricate scrolling goldwork. The vibrant combination of gemstones creates a striking display of colour, characteristic of the harlequin style. The necklace is accompanied by its original fitted box by Page, Keen, & Page and a WGI certificate detailing the gemstones.
The necklace measures 42cm, with a central drop measuring 1.9cm.
