A lovely late victorian sapphire & diamond 3 stone gypsy ring, featuring a central old-cut diamond flanked by two beautifully coloured blue sapphires, all set flush within a substantial 18ct yellow gold band. The central diamond displays a lovely sparkle, contrasting beautifully with the rich cornflower tones of the cushion-shaped no heat sapphires that total 0.70cts. The diamond weighs 0.40cts is G-H in colour and VS2 clarity. Each stone is individually set into the smooth, polished gold surface, creating the distinctive appearance of a traditional Victorian gypsy ring. The gently rounded band measures 6mm wide across the top, tapering towards the back of the shank. Its substantial gold setting and elegant three-stone arrangement make this a particularly attractive example of late Victorian jewellery. The rings weighs 4.1g and can be resized.
