Description
Superb antique Meissen trembleuse cup,cover & saucer.The two-handled cup finely painted with a reserve of lovers after Watteau,the reverse with a well painted reserve of floral bouquets. The cover with 2 vignettes of painted floral bouquets with rose finial. The saucer has an attached reticulated gallery. All highly decorated on a rich cobalt blue ground,picked out in gold,circa 1880.
