Pendant in Silver with Citrine & Mixed Gemstones | Pforzheim Style | Art Nouveau c.1900s
POA
Description
This striking Art Nouveau pendant from the early 1900s centres on a bold, faceted yellow citrine weighing approximately 45 carats, framed by a crown of amethyst, carnelian, agate, and chalcedony.
The design and materials are strongly reminiscent of the jewellery produced in Pforzheim, Germany at the time, particularly the work of Theodor Fahrner and other makers known for their use of semi-precious stones, silver, and softly asymmetrical forms.
Measures 7cm in length by 4.5cm wide.
