Description
A rare and beautifully preserved military stick pin, made in the 1920s and set in 18 carat gold beneath a dome of polished rock crystal.
This striking piece features the enamelled insignia of the 11th Hussars, Prince Albert’s Own, with the regimental motto Treu und Fest (Faithful and True) and reference to their Egypt campaign.
Measuring 7.5cm in length with a 2cm diameter head, it’s an unusually elegant example of British military mementos, refined in detail and rich in heritage.
The craftsmanship is crisp, the colours vivid, and the symbolism unmistakable.
Whether worn or collected, it carries a distinct air of loyalty, history, and purpose.
Available exclusively at ELTONS, Grays Antique Market, Mayfair, London.
