An original one owner from new Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 15053 in excellent working order with a recent service, accompanied by box and papers AND featuring a much sought after 'Buckle Dial'.
Dated to 1980 by the first point of sale on the original Rolex Warranty papers (Serial 602XXX) this lesser seen Rolex model is an Oyster Date and measures 34mm in case size furthermore its steel with a gold bezel fitted to a Rolex gold and steel Oyster bracelet.
Recently serviced this watch runs at just -4 seconds per day and has had a recent pressure test too. Sold with our 12 month guarantee and insured next day shipping (collection from Mayfair, London).
Buckle Dial which is the name given to a dial with black Roman Numeral hour markers applied, one of the lesser sought after models when released in the 70's its now much sought after. This one on a white dial with gold coloured hour blocks to match the hands and the date at 3.
Fitted to a Rolex Oyster bracelet made of gold and steel with a double fold clasp to fit a wrist to 18cm.
Condition - We have taken the decision to leave this watch unpolished, keeping it original and as some collectors prefer it however we can polish upon request at no charge. This does mean it will show signs of wear and light scratching however nothing of note. Glass and dial remain unblemished.
