Description
A Victorian crescent brooch in 18ct gold from around 1870, set with alternating Burmese rubies and old European cut diamonds. The stones are claw-set and get larger towards the centre of the crescent. The rubies are a bright, slightly pinkish red, and the diamonds are bright and white. The brooch comes in its original box.
The brooch measures 6.4cm long x 7mm at the widest point.
The brooch weighs 5.8 grams.
