A beautiful mid 19th century ring in 18ct gold, set with natural pearls and vivid pink rubies in a raised floral cluster design.
The shoulders are engraved with scrolling foliate motifs in a closed back setting.
A locket compartment is concealed behind, inset with a glass panel enclosing a small lock of hair, likely intended as a keepsake. English, circa 1850s.
