Marked 84 Russian silver on the cover.
This bible is highly decorated in the niello technique, which includes Jesus’ stories from the Bible.
There is a presentation in Greek on the side of the cover which says ‘Presented to Archbishop Nikodimos Trevsknov.’ He served in Moldova from the 12th of March 1803.
The Bible is printed in Greek.
