Description
A small late 18th Century French verge in a three colour gold consular case set with pearls. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with gilt indicator. Wound through the signed white enamel dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, pierced gilt hands. Small gold consular case, applied three colour gold decoration, gold pendant and bow. The back with a small engine turned band, the applied gold decoration in the centre and bordering it set with split pearls.
In excellent overall condition, apparently never used.
