A beautiful Victorian 1ct 2 stone diamond crossover ring, set with two well-matched victorian brilliant cut diamonds of approximately 0.50 carats each. The two diamonds sit opposite one another in a classic crossover or “toi et moi” design, their open claw settings allowing the individual stones to take centre stage. The sweeping 18ct yellow gold shank curves elegantly around the stones, creating the wonderfully fluid form associated with late Victorian crossover rings. The diamonds are H-I in colour and VS2 clarity. The two-stone design came to symbolise two people joined together, making this an especially romantic antique ring.
