A beautiful Victorian Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond Daisy Cluster elegantly handcrafted with a rich blue natural sapphire encircled by a sparkling halo of victorian brilliant cut diamonds. Dating to the closing years of the nineteenth century, this timeless design perfectly captures the elegance and craftsmanship of Victorian jewellery . The deep blue sapphire forms the focal point of the ring, its vivid colour beautifully complemented by a surround of carefully matched diamonds. Each diamond has been individually claw set, creating a floral-inspired cluster that maximises light and sparkle while framing the sapphire to perfection. The 8 diamonds weigh 0.22cts each totalling in 1.76cts. The ring is mounted with a traditional fine yellow gold shank and a silver setting, a characteristic feature of fine late Victorian jewellery.
