Stunning Victorian Topaz & Pearl Oval Brooch. Elegant Victorian topaz and natural pearl brooch set in rich 15ct gold. Centred with a large oval golden yellow topaz, the stone is surrounded by a beautiful border of luminous 1/2 pearls, with smaller pearls set as points between the larger pearls creating a classic Victorian cluster design full of warmth and refinement. The pearls are well matched and in beautiful condition. The richly toned stone displays deep honey and orange flashes which contrast beautifully against the soft glow of the pearls. Its generous scale and timeless design make it an exceptionally wearable antique statement brooch today. The central topaz measures 19 x 14mm and is 13cts. The brooch measures at 3 x 2.6 cm. The original back pin is shaped so the brooch doesn’t tilt or fall when worn which is very typical of victorian design. The brooch comes in the boxed that it is pictured in.
