Description

A vintage gold charm bracelet, with a collection of 55 mid-twentieth century charms, including charms from Greece, Italy, and Egypt, probably mementos of holidays, with date letters between 1955 and 1971, with one dated 1900, mostly in 9ct gold, with some in 18ct gold, onto a 9ct gold chain bracelet of interlinked double rings, symbolising unity, each marked 9.375, held together with oval links, with Birmingham assay office Hallmarks, with K date letter, on an end link, for 1959, with a bolt ring clasp marked 9K.

From the bolt ring the charms are: a golf bag with clubs, with a Birmingham 9ct Hallmark, with date letter S, for 1967; an English crown, with a Birmingham Hallmark; a reverse crystal, painted with a four leaf clover and a ladybird; a GR George VI, hand pierced, monogram; a small sailing boat, with a Birmingham 9ct Hallmark, with date letter W for, 1971; a running fox; a disc, engraved with a W, with a Birmingham Hallmark, with date letter v for 1970; a cocktail shaker, embossed with "COCKTAIL", marked 9CT; an engraved locket, with a foliage design on both sides and a blue enamelled leaf on the front; a double bladed, steel penknife, marked "FOREIGN", with a cross hatched gold case, with a London 9ct Hallmark, showing FM sponsor mark and date letter k, for 1965; a seal stamp, with a cornelian; a thimble, with a London 9ct Hallmark, showing FM sponsor mark and date letter i for 1964; a pig, in hollow-ware, with a Birmingham 9ct Hallmark showing AL Ld. sponsor mark and date letter a for 1900; a stork, with an empty hook in its bill, with a London 9ct Hallmark, with date letter k for 1965, the sponsor mark is worn, possibly, G&IJ; a set of white gold keys, on a keyring, numbered 1,8,3 (in reverse), 9 (in reverse); a kettle, with a Birmingham 9ct Hallmark, showing C&F sponsor mark and date letter N for 1962; a double sided glass picture locket; a mini " £1 note" in a glass fronted box, engraved "IN EMRGENCY BREAK GLASS", with a London 9ct Hallmark, showing CJ Ld. sponsor mark and date letter k for 1965; a blue enamel butterfly; a boat; an engraved dagger, in scabbard; an elephant, in hollow ware, with a 585Ω mark, for 14ct gold, made in Greece; a lifbuoy, with white enamel, marked 9CT; an 18ct gold, UnoAErre, engraved fleur-de-lys, signed Uno AR, with Italian marks 750, 1 AR; a hunting horn; an 18ct gold ankh, with an Egyptian hallmark for Cairo; a ship's wheel, marked 9CT; a tractor, with moving wheels, with a London 9ct Hallmark and date letter U for 1955; a bowler hat, with a Birmingham 9ct Hallmark, showing C&F sponsor mark and date letter S for 1967; a lieutenant's epaulet, marked 9CT; a pub, named the "Hunter's Moon", the foliage engraved bottom opens to reveal a barman pouring a beer from a pump and a man drinking a pint, with a Birmingham 9ct Hallmark, showing SP sponsor mark and date letter P for 1964.
