Striking Vintage Brutalist Gold Amethyst & Diamond Sculptural Ring. This sculptural ring is crafted in rich 18ct gold and centred with a deep violet cabochon amethyst. The amethyst is framed by 3 irregularly set diamonds within an organic, textured surround. The hand-built form reflects the distinctive aesthetic of the 60’s, with molten-like gold surfaces and an architectural composition that catches the light from every angle. The characterful ring has got an SK makers mark as well as an 18ct stamp in the shank. The outside of the shank is textured as well as flattened off at the back which is very typical of the brutalist style of jewellery, despite this it is very comfortable on the ring and makes for a brilliant statement ring.
