Description
A vintage, 14ct gold box, with four, engine turned sides, alternating with a ribbon and wreath pattern on the cut corners, terminating with reeded bars called "ribbon and reed" pattern, with superimposed crosses, with a polished, hinged lid, stamped 585 for 14ct gold with a Canadian C, surrounding a crown mark, which came into use in 1934, for items manufactured in Canada also with Czechoslovakian import marks, featuring a lyre, with a c above, which was in use between 1929 and 1940, circa 1935.
