Description
A vintage French diamond and platinum riviére necklace, with graduating drops, set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, in four claw settings, with diamonds above, onto an articulating chain of alternating pairs of round brilliant-cut diamonds, with baguette-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, on a box clasp, with figure-of-eight safety clasps. The tongue has a French dog mark for platinum, with an eagle for the white gold clasp, and an ES maker's mark, with an estimated total diamond weight of 37.84 carats, circa 1950.
