A Vintage Giaconi & Gioli Italian gold double pill box, designed as an oval cylinder, with a reeded pattern and polished ends, with rose gold edges, with a rose gold, diagonal dividing line, each catch is spitch set with a single round brilliant-cut diamond, with sprung hinges, mounted in 18 carat gold with Italian 750 mark for 18 carat gold and * 441 FI maker's mark for Giaconi & Gioli, circa 1970.
Giaconi & Gioli was an Italian luxury silversmithing partnership, active in Florence around the 1970s. The firm is best known for creating dramatic, masterfully detailed animal sculptures combining precious metals with natural gemstones. Their address was Via dei Serragli 22, Firenze.
