Description
A vintage orb necklace in platinum. The 14mm ball is pavé set all over with round diamonds, white and cognac brown, laid in shifting bands so the colours swirl across the surface. The stones total about 6ct and are graded VS2 for clarity. The pale stones flash in the light and the brown ones add depth and warmth. At the base, a single larger stone of paler champagne tone sits in a fluted collar, a small detail that finishes the ball neatly.
The orb hangs from a 19" chain of trace links alternating with faceted bars, subtle without being delicate, and fastens with a spring ring clasp. The white metal of the chain matches the setting, so the whole necklace reads as one piece. It is bold without being heavy, and it works worn alone or layered. Authenticated by us.
