Description
A Cartier gold necklace, from the discontinued "Gentiane" collection, featuring five rows of articulating, polished, domed navette shaped links also known as "rice links", which move freely to curve around the neckline. It was produced by master goldsmiths in Italy, mounted in 18ct yellow gold, signed Cartier, numbered B55505, with an Italian 750 fineness mark, a 750 Convention Hallmark and a Swiss Helvetia mark, with a B for Bienne, with a wide box and tongue clasp, with two additional figure of eight safety clasps, circa 1990.
