The iconic and classic Cartier square shaped watch, this Cartier Santos Galbee is presented as a watch only however it does come in excellent original condition and having passed through our workshop its in fine working order.
We have purposely chosen to leave this watch unpolished, in our view its in great original condition with no major marks or scratches that detract away from it. We do have an in house polisher and can polish upon request but for some the beauty is in it just as it is.
29mm x 41mm stainless steel case the 1564 is the larger model but not over bearing. The dial being an off white colour is in excellent condition and hardly shows any age with no discolouration. Blue roman numeral hour markers with the date at 6 and the hands in the classic Cartier metallic blue.
Presented with a 12 month guarantee, Cartier service pouch and insured next day shipping (or collect from Mayfair, London).
Quartz battery powered with recent battery change, the seals have also been replaced. Sapphire scratch resistant crystal.
Stainless steel original bracelet to fit a wrist to 17cm / 17.5cm (we are able to source additional links if required).
Our View - A really nice original example of a vintage Santos. Yes, will show some minor hairline scratches up close as we haven't polished but overall its in excellent condition and in our view great value.
