Description
Chinese famille-rose mug, Qianlong (1736-1795), of gentle pot-belly form on a stepped foot with curling handle, decorated in overglaze polychrome enamels with two bands of shapes to the foot and floral sprays with insects to the body below a band of blue spearhead lambrequin to the rim, the handle decorated with a beaded pendant design in iron red and gilt, with curling leaves around the terminals.
