Description
Chinese famille rose plate, Qianlong (1736-95), decorated in the centre with a leaf-shaped cartouche containing an oriental riverscape with bridge, rockwork and pine tree, the rim with four ruyi-head cartouches containing large peony heads against a pink cell ground, and further sections of scrolling foliate design with pink grounds and flowerheads.
Condition: Shallow frits to rim, two minute hairlines to rim.
