Description

Pair of Chinese famille verte facetted bottle vases, Kangxi (1662-1722), the bodies decorated with shaped cartouches containing a ‘Long Eliza’ in a fenced garden and a jardieniere on a stand with precious objects against a stippled green ground interspersed by florets, between bands of ruyi and stiff leaves to the base, neck and rim, height of taller 11 3/4 in. (29.8 cm.), height of other 11 5/8 in. (29.5 cm.); condition: one with chip to rim, 2 small chips to base neatly restored. For a similar example see the Rijksmuseum, Accession No. AK-RBK-16329-A
