Chinese famille rose stand, Qianlong (1736-95), of hexagonal lobed form, decorated to the centre with a bouquet of flowers tied with a ribbon, surrounded by four floral sprays, the rim with a band of alternating purple and pink cell grounds, with foliate detail in iron red and small florets issuing from spearheads.
