Description
Chinese famille rose teapot and cover, Yongzheng (1723-35) of moulded form, decorated with cockerels at a riverbank among flowering prunus, peony and chrysanthemum, the loop handle with an iron red spray, the base moulded as a chrysanthemum with applied relief tendrils forming an undulating stand, the lid similarly moulded in chrysanthemum form and decorated with floral sprays; height: 4 ¼ in.
