Description
Chinese famille verte dish, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated in overglaze enamels to the central roundel with chrysanthemum, prunus and peony against a red lattice diaper ground; within a green, yellow and red ruyi-head band and further star-diaper; the rim with large peony heads and curling foliage against a red cell ground; the reverse with floral sprays between a band of interlocking scroll pattern in iron-red to the rim and alternating red and green stiff leaves to the footrim.
