Description
English creamware melon tureen, cover and under plate, 18th century, the plate modelled in the form of a melon leaf and attached to the melon tureen by a moulded stem, the tureen cover with reticulated decoration and an applied moulded finial.
Diameter of plate: 22.2cm. (8 3.4in.)
Condition: Two hairlines to cover, crack to stem of finial, minute frits.
Provenance:The collection of Brodersen in Hjerpsted.
