Chinese famille-verte multi-faceted vase Kangxi (1662-1722), of slender elongated baluster form, the neck with scholars objects above a hatched band containing cartouches of qilin and the body enclosing panels containing flowers with birds, a figure in a landscape, or qilin, interspersed by single florets, with a hatched band to the spreading foot, the cover of moulded form decorated with precious objects and stylised half-flowerheads and scrollwork against a red seeded ground; height: 22 in. (55.7 cm.), height without cover: 18 in. (45.8 cm.); condition: chip to cover, starcrack to cover, hairline to rim
