Chinese ridge tile figure of a rider on horseback, Ming (1368-1644), c.17th century, decorated with green, ochre and aubergine glazes, the rider with his arms raised, wearing a tall hat, long armour and outer tunic in green; astride a galloping horse amongst cloud scrolls.

Dimensions:

Height: 38.5cm. (15 ¼ in.); width: 27.3cm. (10 5/8in.) x 13.5cm. (5 5/16in.)

Condition: There is some damage; the tail is replaced; horses head is cracked and some glaze is missing; please expand the image to see the details
