Dating to the early twentieth century, this finely crafted chain displays the refined workmanship characteristic of the Edwardian period. The alternating links create wonderful texture and movement, while the symbolic reef knot, long associated with strength, unity and enduring bonds, adds an unusual and highly collectable feature. This piece really is something special. It also features an ‘E.P’ makers mark on the t bar, ‘H.P’ on the dog clip fastening as well as silver assay marks all over.
