Description
Japanese imari dish, 18th century, decorated in the centre with a landscape vignette enclosing a pavilion, sprays of peony and chrysanthemum all below cloud scrolls, the border with shaped cartouches containing pairs of quail among reeds, against a ground of scrolling flowering foliage.
Diameter: 38.3cm. (15 1/16in.)
Condition: Very slight wear to enamels
