Description
Fine quality large 19th century Meissen scent-bottle and stopper. The front with a cartouche of a finely painted scene of a romantic couple in a rural setting probably after Watteau,the reverse with a cartouche of floral bouquets. The stopper also with a finely painted bouquet of flowers. All decorated in a rich cobalt blue ground picked out in gold circa 1880
