Meissen two-handled beaker and saucer, the saucer circa 1724 and the beaker slightly later, each painted in the manner of Johann Gregorius Höroldt, with chinoiserie scenes within gilt quatrelobe scrollwork cartouches within Böttger lustre and iron-red foliate scrollwork, the rims embellished with gilt strap and scrollwork, the base of the beaker with underglaze cross swords mark with a gold A, the saucer with the numeral 16 in gilt, diameter of saucer: 4 3/4in. (12cm.), height of beaker: 2 7/8 in. (7.5cm.); condition: perfect
