Description
Pair of Chinese blue and white oval bowls, late Qianlong (1736-95), with barbed foliate rims, decorated in the centres with blooming peony and other flowers in a fenced rocky garden, the interior rims with four floral cartouches against a latticed ground, the exterior with floral sprays and curling tendrils against a moulded basket weave pattern.
