Description

Pair of Chinese conical-shaped wine cups, Kangxi (1662-1722), standing on ribbed stems with spreading feet, the cups decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with an assortment of the ‘hundred antiques’, including archaic bronze-form censers and vases, weiqi boards, precious babao, artemisia leaves, peacock feathers, coral and scrolls below a diaper band to the rims, the top section of the stems with a café-au-lait ground, the feet with floral sprays and band of scrolls.
