Pair of Chinese rouge-de-fer moulded shell-shaped dishes, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated in predominantly iron-red enamel with blue and gilt, painted with a central floral roundel and stems including chrysanthemum and lily, all within a geometric flowerhead band to the rim.

Diameter: 20 cm. (7 7/8in.)

Condition: Small areas of loss of glaze
