Description
 Pair of Japanese imari lobed dishes, c.1720, decorated in the centre with a bird perched on rockwork, with a river and pine tree, the border with chrysanthemums and other flowers, with two lobed panels containing phoenixes, the reverse decorated with scrolling peonies.
Condition: Wear to gilding
Notes: This design was copied at Meissen in the 18th century
